Diwygio Anghenion Dysgu Ychwanegol
Mae ein hysgol yn cadw at y Cod Ymarfer Anghenion Arbennig cyfredol wrth gyflawni ein dyletswyddau tuag at bob disgybl ag Anghenion Addysgol Arbennig, ac yn sicrhau bod rhieni'n cael eu hysbysu pan fydd darpariaeth yn cael ei gwneud ar gyfer eu plentyn.
Mae Ysgol Glan Morfa yn y broses o baratoi ar gyfer y trawsnewidiad tuag at fframwaith statudol newydd yng Nghymru lle mae’r term ‘Anghenion Addysgol Arbennig’ yn cael ei ddisodli gan y term ‘Anghenion Dysgu Ychwanegol’ (ALN).
O fis Medi 2021, mae Deddf Tribiwnlys Anghenion Dysgu ac Addysg Ychwanegol (Cymru) (ALNET) yn disodli'r fframwaith Anghenion Addysgol Arbennig (AAA) cyfredol gyda system ddiwygiedig yn seiliedig ar Anghenion Dysgu Ychwanegol (ADY). Mae'r Bil yn gwneud darpariaeth ar gyfer Cynlluniau Datblygu Unigol cyffredinol, statudol (IDP) ar gyfer pob plentyn a pherson ifanc ag ADY.
Ar hyn o bryd mae'r ysgol yn gweithio'n rhanbarthol i sicrhau y byddwn yn cwrdd â'r gofynion statudol cyfreithiol ar gyfer y cod ymarfer newydd gan ei weithredu'n raddol ym mis Medi 2021.
Bydd gofyn i bob ysgol yng Nghymru wneud newidiadau i'w systemau cyfredol. Rydym yn gweithio ar y cyd â Chyngor Sir Caerdydd i sicrhau trosglwyddiad esmwyth i'r Ddeddf ALNET newydd.

Additional Learning Needs Reform
Our school adheres to the current Special Needs Code of Practice when carrying out our duties towards all pupils with Special Educational Needs, and ensure that parents are notified when provision is being made for their child.
Ysgol Glan Morfa is in the process of preparing for the transition towards a new statutory framework in Wales whereby the term ‘Special Educational Needs’ is replaced by the term ‘Additional Learning Needs’ (ALN).
From September 2021, The Additional Learning Needs and Education Tribunal (Wales) Act (ALNET) replaces the current Special Educational Needs (SEN) framework with a reformed system based on Additional Learning Needs (ALN). The Bill makes provision for universal, statutory Individual Development Plans (IDP) for all children and young people with ALN.
The school is currently working regionally to ensure we will meet the legal statutory requirements for the new code of practice with phased implementation in September 2021.
All schools in Wales will be required to make changes to their current systems. We are working in collaboration with Cardiff County Council to ensure a smooth transition to the new ALNET Act.
