Llais y Disgybl

Yn ein hysgol, credwn yng ngrym llais y disgybl i lunio amgylchedd dysgu bywiog a deinamig. Rydym yn darparu amrywiaeth o gyfleoedd i'n myfyrwyr fynegi eu barn, cyfrannu at benderfyniadau a chael effaith gadarnhaol ar fywyd ysgol.

Yn yr Ysgol Uchaf, mae disgyblion yn cymryd rhan yn Ein Llais Ni, fforwm wythnosol lle gallant rannu eu barn ar beth a sut maent yn dysgu, yn enwedig o fewn gwaith prosiect. Mae hyn yn grymuso disgyblion i ddylanwadu ar gyfeiriad eu haddysg, gan sicrhau ei fod yn berthnasol ac yn ddeniadol.

Ar gyfer ein disgyblion iau yn yr Ysgol Isaf a Chanol, mae gennym Plant Prysur (Plant Prysur), system lle mae disgyblion yn casglu ac yn rhannu eu barn wythnosol am weithgareddau a darpariaeth yn yr ystafell ddosbarth. Mae hyn yn caniatáu iddynt gyfrannu eu syniadau ar ba feysydd dysgu yr hoffent eu harchwilio, gan roi perchnogaeth iddynt o'u profiad addysgol.

Trwy gydol y flwyddyn, rydym hefyd yn dosbarthu holiaduron rheolaidd ar amrywiaeth o bynciau i'w casglu.

Yn ogystal, mae Senedd yr Ysgol yn cyfarfod yn rheolaidd gyda'r Pennaeth i drafod unrhyw faterion sy'n bwysig i'r disgyblion. Mae'r cyfarfodydd hyn yn rhoi llwyfan i ddisgyblion godi cwestiynau, cynnig awgrymiadau, a chyfrannu at ddatblygiad ein hysgol. Trwy'r llwyfannau amrywiol hyn—Cewri Cymreictod, Arwyr Eco, Dewiniaid Digidol a'r Senedd Ysgol—mae ein disgyblion yn cydweithio â thargedau clir, tymhorol i wneud gwahaniaeth diriaethol, cadarnhaol yng nghymuned eu hysgol.

Mae eu lleisiau'n bwysig, ac rydym yn falch o gefnogi eu hymdrechion i lunio dyfodol ein hysgol.

At our school, we believe in the power of the pupil's voice to shape a vibrant and dynamic learning environment. We provide a variety of opportunities for our students to express their opinions, contribute to decisions, and make a positive impact on school life.

In the Upper School, pupils participate in Ein Llais Ni (Our Voice), a weekly forum where they can share their thoughts on what and how they are learning, particularly within project-based work. This empowers pupils to influence the direction of their education, ensuring it is relevant and engaging.

For our younger pupils in the Lower and Middle School, we have Plant Prysur (Busy Children), a system where pupils collect and share their weekly opinions on classroom activities and provision. This allows them to contribute their ideas on what areas of learning they would like to explore, giving them ownership of their educational experience.

Throughout the year, we also circulate regular questionnaires on a variety of topics to gather feedback from all pupils. This helps us ensure that everyone has the chance to voice their opinions on important matters, from teaching methods to school initiatives.

In addition, the School Senedd (Student Parliament) meets regularly with the Headteacher to discuss any issues that are important to the pupils. These meetings provide a platform for pupils to raise questions, offer suggestions, and contribute to the development of our school.
Through these various platforms—Cewri Cymreictod (Welsh Heroes), Arwyr Eco (Eco Heroes), Dewiniaid Digidol (Digital Wizards), and the School Senedd—our pupils work together with clear, termly targets to make a tangible, positive difference in their school community.

Their voices matter, and we are proud to support their efforts in shaping the future of our school.
