    Y Nyth (The Nest) is our new specialist Autism Base at Ysgol Glan Morfa—a safe, nurturing and supportive space for up to 10 pupils. The class provides a calm, structured environment for children who may find it challenging to be in mainstream provision at all times.

    In Y Nyth, pupils benefit from:

    • tailored support that meets their individual needs

    • flexible and personalised access to the curriculum

    • opportunities to join their mainstream class when they are ready

    • specialist staff who understand their strengths and challenges

    Our aim is to ensure every child feels safe, confident and ready to learn—whether that’s in mainstream, in Y Nyth, or through a blend of both.
